Practice Start-up

Hi Everyone,

I've delayed sending this message out because I was hoping to get the update from BCAS about COVID protocols. Unfortunately, it seems like they are still going back and forth with ViaSport, so we don't know if we'll have restrictions or not. As soon as we hear, we'll let you know.

In the meantime, we've booked our first few practices. Britannia is closed for their annual maintenance and won't reopen until after Thanksgiving. In the meantime we'll be at Templeton exclusively. Our first practice is Sunday, Sept. 19, and each Sunday after that. We're trying to book some weeknight practices as well, but are waiting for confirmation. We'll send out costs and registration info ASAP.

Finally, the initial interest in swimming this year is high (yay!), so we've added an extra coach to our dream team of Jordan and Christina. We're super fortunate and excited to welcome Hannah Ungar to our coaching staff! Hannah's a former VMS member, and has experience coaching Masters at McGill.
