NEW SEASON INFORMATION

Hey Everyone!!

If you can believe it, September is almost here and with that brings the beginning of a new season!

The new season starts on TUESDAY, SEPT 16 from 8:15-9:45pm @ UBC Aquatic Center!!!

PRACTICE TIMES ARE UPDATED:

Our calendar is shifting from last year, ALL TEAMS will be practicing at these times:

Tuesdays from 8:15-9:45pm @ UBC

Sundays from 10:15-11:30am @ UBC

We made this shift based on feedback from coaches and members, based on the following logic:

• UBC is a better pool with more usable space

• Longer & earlier training time (8:15-9:45pm instead of 9-10pm)

• Less expensive than 2x nights at Britannia by ~$50 a week (since we can have all teams practicing at the same time)

• Better club atmosphere when we all train together!

We do acknowledge that UBC can be a tricky location if you are commuting from far away, but the benefits (and votes) outweighed this.

Please note there is NO practice on the following dates: Sept 30 (Tue), Oct 5 (Sun), Oct 19 (Sun), Nov 9 (Sun), Nov 11 (Tue), Dec 7 (Sun).

We will likely arrange to join the UBC Watershow on Saturday, Nov 29.

The final practice of the term will be Tuesday, Dec 16th.
