Novice Program is Back! Starting Jan 2025

Here are the details for the Program:

We are excited to bring back our 8-week artistic swimming program for beginners! This program is intended for people who have either never tried synchro, or who have minimal experience. 

WHEN

- FREE TRY IT: Sunday, Jan 12 - 10:15 am to 11:30 am

- FULL SESSION: Sundays, Jan 26 to Mar 16 (except Feb 16) - 10:15 am to 11:30 am

WHERE

UBC Aquatic Centre (6000 Student Union Blvd, Vancouver) 

WHO

Anyone is welcome!! 

- Must be able to swim 100m, and be comfortable in deep water (there is no shallow end at UBC)

WHAT

The program will be specific to the group that signs up! But you can expect to learn the basics of synchro, do some swimming, and by the final session, learn a small routine to music! 

You'll need a swimsuit, goggles, swim cap (optional), nose clip (optional), and a water bottle (optional). 

HOW MUCH

$140 for the full 8-session program. This fee includes:

- Registration with BC Artistic Swimming

- Club fees that cover our equipment, insurance, and other overheads

- Coaching fees 

- Pool costs
