Practice Updates

Hi Everyone,

I wanted to give you a quick rundown of our practices up until the competition. Templeton will be shutting down for regular maintenance, and so we can't hold our regular Sunday night practices for the next few weeks. We've been looking for replacement pool space, but haven't found any yet.

To compensate for the loss of practice time, we are going to start overlapping the waves at Wednesday night practice. If you normally start in the first wave, you will stay an extra half an hour. If you normally start in the second wave, you will start a half an hour earlier. We are able to do this because they've lifted the COVID restrictions. We will keep this Wednesday schedule for the rest of the season. Duets, if you would like to stay after your team practice is done, you are welcome to.

We normally don't hold practice on holiday weekends, but seeing as how many of you might be anxious for pool time leading up to the competition, we've decided to try and book pool time during the Easter weekend. It will be for two hours, and everyone will swim at the same time.

Here's what practice will look like up until the meet:

Wednesday, Mar. 23: (Britannia) Val's & Christina's small team 8:45 - 10:15 / Jordan's & Christina's large team 9:15 - 10:45 pm

Sunday, Mar. 27: Practice cancelled

Sunday, Apr. 3: Practice cancelled

Wednesday, Apr. 6: (Britannia) Val's & Christina's small team 8:45 - 10:15 / Jordan's & Christina's large team 9:15 - 10:45 pm

Sunday, Apr. 10: (Templeton) Jordan's & Christina's large team 7:30 - 9:30 / Val's & Christina's small team 8:30 - 10:00
