End of the synchro season

Hello Everyone,

I hope this finds each of you safe and healthy. I wanted to give everyone an update about what's happening with the remainder of this season.

First off, Provincials has officially been cancelled. There is a possibility it could be rescheduled for later in the Spring, but we won't know until April. If that happens, it will be each swimmer's choice whether or not to participate.

Therefore, VMS is going to wrap up our season now. This means a couple of things: 1) Erin is working on sending out final invoices. Since fees were collected in February, these shouldn't be too high. If you are facing financial difficulty at this time, please let Erin know (vmstreasurer@gmail.com) and we can sort something out. 2) Volunteer requirements will be suspended. Thank you to everyone who's already helped out this season; however, since there won't be any further opportunities to volunteer, we don't feel it would be fair to penalize any members for missing hours.

Finally, we'll keep in touch with you about the future of synchro, whether that's regarding competition rescheduling, summer training or the possible World's competition next summer.
