2010 Update

filed under: general

It’s exciting times at Vancouver Masters Synchro! We had a very successful first competition of the season. The team had two good swims, and an especially good first half of free. Two judges even ranked us first! We had two new members competing with us for the first time, and they did great. A special shout out to Lucy, who just completed her first-ever synchro meet! The duet also had two awesome swims, made even more remarkable considering that half the duet is eight months pregnant! In a surprising turn of events, our duet wasn’t the only pregnant duo of the competition. Us masters swimmers are a tough bunch.

In other news, we are the official hosts of the 2010 Canadian Masters Nationals. We have a lot of work ahead of us, but with teams from across Canada and the US already signed up, it’s shaping up to be a great competition!
